REMEMBER TO UPDATE YOUR PHONE NUMBER WITH THE ASYLUM SERVICE IF YOU CHANGE IT

Sometimes phones get lost or destroyed or we just have to change our number, it's a part of life. Don't forget though that it's really important to tell the Asylum Service as soon as possible if you change your phone number (or address). Otherwise they will not be able to contact you, which in the worst case scenario could harm your asylum or family reunification claim severely! The best option is to go to the Asylum Office and tell the employees there directly about your new number (or address). If you don't have the possibility to do so, you can also change your phone number by emailing new.numbers@asylo.gov.gr
You should include your name, date of birth, registration/case number (the first 5-digit number from your white card), your new phone number and/or your new address in this email. The email should be in English or Greek. Please note that they will change your details for you but will not reply to you to confirm this. If you need to email them but have problems sending the email, please write to us on Facebook with your details so we can help
