IF I GET ASYLUM, CAN MY FAMILY MEMBERS JOIN ME HERE IN GREECE?

Yes it is possible, but only if you are granted refugee status. Unfortunately, you cannot bring your family members to Greece if you are an asylum seeker or recipient of subsidiary protection. To bring your family to Greece you must apply at the Regional Asylum Office responsible for your application. Apply within three months after being granted refugee status and then you won't need to have a job and accommodation to bring your family members. At the Asylum Office, bring the decision that says you are granted refugee status and, if you already have it, your residence permit. The Asylum Service will explain how to complete your application and will need to contact you again, so give them your current phone number. The Greek authorities have recently taken steps to make the procedure easier. But this process is still quite complicated and can take a long time.
